Thanks John, your comments are really appreciated and I'm glad you got up and running, relatively smoothly. The offending character that you refer to, I'm wondering if that is in fact the apostrophe character (found on right side keyboard, same key as double-quotes) as that should be correctly accounted for when building the SQL commands. Any chance of on forwarding the offending blog that was causing you trouble, so at least I can figure out precisely what went wrong.
