Gmail learning to improve my efficiency

I was frustrated yesterday because I missed one important task yesterday until I found this.

You know it happens when you are working from offices/home and mobile and your colleagues are always expecting more to be done from you. :-). I tried many tools to keep these tasks more organised from paper clip to variaties of task managers. But none of them seems working well for me yet. So I did a quick review for my requirement and the current new task managers and I hope I got it this time.

For me, I just need to manage tasks seamlessly from multiple computers and multiple platforms because I have mac, windows and ubuntu etc. So sync is a top requirement for me and I want to use one tool across platforms. Tried several AIR based applications but sync is a big issue for them. Eventually I decided to give gmail task a try and I am happy for this decision.

The task manager from gmail is very intuitive. I was able to grasp it after several minutes. Since it's a web app so sync and multiple platform support is not a issue. The only drawback is you have to use it in your browser but I am sure there will be AIR app soon. (maybe I can create one later on)

And gmail works better after I embrace the tips from the following links:

Enjoy the new tools as I found my day is more comfortable and more calm down now.
