  • SNMP Ping Method Faulty for PHP Version 4.x        2007/01/27 In Cacti v0.8.6j, we changed the default ping method to utilize the getnext method which should be much more reliable for all users. However, we did not realize that this function was not introduced in php_snmp until version 5.x of PHP. This patch will revert to the prior behavior when using PHP 4.x.
